Business Health Insurance Misconceptions

There are a lot of misconceptions regarding Corporate Health Insurance, below is a brief overview of some.

Private Health cover is for larger companies - not smaller ones

The Corporate Health Insurance market offers private health cover for companies of all sizes, from two employees upwards. Remember the smaller the company the greater the impact from illness.

We can't change cover, as we've made a claim with our current insurers

This may not be true, it is often possible to switch your Corporate Health Insurance provider and still have a similar level of cover. Although it is always best to ask our advisers about switching before you go ahead with a new policy.

We've already got a Cash Plan/Income Protection

Neither of these will cover you or your staff for private medical treatment.

We have Critical Illness Cover, we don't need Corporate Health Insurance

Critical Illness policies only covers your employee's for a certain amount of conditions and will only make a one-off payment. Private health insurance covers a wide range of conditions and treatments.

There's loads of admin work involved in making a claim

All claims are the responsibility of the individual staff member and most claims will be assessed over the phone, so valuable work time isn't wasted on unnecessary paperwork.
