Throughout 2024 and 2025, Southmead Hospital Charity was the chosen charity of the year for Usay Compare.
The charity is close to our hearts for many of our team. In early 2024, we lost a dear colleague and friend to many at Usay Compare, Aly Sunderland. Southmead Hospital Charity provided excellent care for Aly and we wanted to give back.
Throughout the two years of raising money for Southmead Hospital Charity, our team took on a variety of challenges including: an annual memorial walk, The Great Bristol Run, the Bristol to Bath trail. We also used our annual Employee Awards Evening to raise money with a money tree raffle.
We're pleased to announce we raised an incredible £14,537.97 in total. Our team really pulled together and got behind this important cause, which shows in the grand total raised.
On Thursday 30th April, we welcomed Jayne Mallard, Corporate Partnerships Officer at Southmead Hospital Charity, to our head office, where Mark Noble, CEO at Usay Compare, presented her with a cheque.
Many of our team gathered at head office to celebrate the achievements of the past two years and watch the cheque presentation.
