We're exploring everything on offer with Vitality Launch 26.

The Vitality Programme is evolving to help more members get healthier, wherever they are in life. The newest additions to the Vitality Programme include a discounted price for the Google FitBit Air and improved Personalised Health Checks.

Discounted Google FitBit Air

Members can now get access to a Google FitBit Air at a price of £42.50, or certain at-risk members will be offered one at no additional cost.

These members can also benefit from Personalised Step Targets, powered by Vitality AI, helping them to build healthy habits at a pace that works for them.

Personalised Health Checks

From 2027, Vitality are introducing Personalised Health Checks, focusing on a more tailored approach to heart and metabolic health.

By using existing health check results, a deeper personalisation powered through Vitality AI will identify members who may benefit from a more in-depth heart health screening.

This will be delivered through advanced blood testing or in some cases, an AI-enabled retinal scan. A simple eye scan can provide valuable health insights by analysing the blood vessels and structures at the back of the eye to assess cardiovascular health.

For members who are identified as being at-risk, a Vitality GP will provide a detailed explanation of all the results and recommend actions that could help to reduce their risk.

Vitality is also introducing a wide range of changes for VitalityHealth members.

In addition to enhanced preventative services, Vitality are also expanding their everyday care, including new services through Boots and more support for members impacted by cancer.

GP Services at Boots

Focused on combining digital and face-to-face care with prescriptions all in one service.

Virtual GPs have improved convenience and speed, but there are still occasions where clinicians may need additional health information to make informed treatment decisions.

From 2027, Vitality Health Zones will be introduced at selected Boots stores for Vitality Health members. This will combine in-person health assessments with virtual GP consultation and prescriptions in one appointment.

Boots Online Doctor

Vitality Health members can also get 20% off private prescriptions for selected conditions through Boots Online Doctor.

Symptom Checker

From November 2026, a new digital tool in the Care Hub will offer information and guidance about a condition and recommend possible next steps.

Anytime Consultations

From November 2026, members can complete a short form with their medical information and receive fast guidance and support through HealthHero, without needing to book a GP appointment.

Enhanced Optical and Dental Health Cover

Boots Opticians and Boots Hearingcare are now Vitality’s network partner for optical and hearing benefits. Available now at more than 500 Boots Opticians and over 400 Boots Hearingcare practices across the UK.

Enhanced Cancer Support

A new partnership with Perci Health has allowed Vitality to strengthen their cancer support programme.

Now all Health members and eligible Life members can access personalised support for 12 months, involving lifestyle coaching alongside appropriate physical and mental health support.

Members will have access to a dedicated Cancer Nurse Specialist, helping them to understand treatment, manage side effects and navigate the wider impact of cancer on everyday life.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Understanding diagnosis and treatment options
  • Preparing for appointments
  • Managing side effects and treatment-related challenges
  • Access specialist support services where appropriate

There are also improvements for Vitality Life members. These improved benefits include improved access to weight-management support and dynamic underwriting.

Improved Access to Weight-Management Support

In 2025, Vitality became the first health insurer to introduce weight-management services as a core feature in their health insurance cover. This autumn, Boots Online Doctor is being extended to VitalityLife Select clients (when paying a monthly premium of at least £25.)

This means accessing market-leading discounts on weight-management medication, along with expert clinical care and personal coaching.

Dynamic Underwriting

Aimed to help customers improve their health and provide support every step of the way to progress towards better health.

This starts with members who pay more for life insurance due to BMI-related loading. Using information provided at underwriting, eligible members will be set a BMI target level to work towards.

The Vitality Programme will provide access to personalised weight-management support and annual health checks to track progress.

As health improves, members will be able to earn cashback for the first three years of their policy duration. For members who earn cashback in the first three years, Vitality will automatically review and reduce premiums where applicable.

No new application, re-underwriting or additional paperwork is required.

These improvements and updates help members to get the most out of their health and life insurance cover with Vitality. Members can continue to improve their health and have peace of mind over their future health and wellbeing.
