Do Vitality Health cover cancer care?

Vitality offer Advanced Cancer Cover as standard with all of their policies, meaning should you be diagnosed with cancer whilst covered by Vitality, they will cover all eligible in-patient and out-patient in full. As well as covering the cost of treatment, Vitality will provide you with a specialist care and support team throughout your treatment.

What cancers are covered?

All types of cancer are covered under Vitality’s cancer cover plans as standard. Cover for primary and secondary cancers will also be covered should your cancer spread whilst undergoing treatment. If your cancer is no longer treatable, Vitality will also cover the cost of a home care and pain relief up to £1,000 for a maximum of 14 days.

Can I be treated at home?

Should your consultant agree it is safe to do so, Vitality will cover all eligible treatment at home including injections and infusions, chemotherapy and biological and bisphosphonate therapies. The location in which your care is provided can be changed during the course of your treatment, should you want to change to either home or hospital care.

What is covered under Vitality’s Advanced Cancer Cover?

Vitality cover all eligible in-patient and out-patient cover in full and will cover additional treatment up to a monetary value.
